Hello! Any suggestions of where to purchase an AED for camp? Thanks in advance!

Zoll is what I have always used in acute care. We just transitioned to a Cintas AED program where they come and check them monthly. Good service, but is more costly than buying and maintaining your own.

There are many AED options of course. Write down what your needs are for your AED. Zoll is a great option especially if you want it to be user friendly for staff and others who may not have done CPR (ever!) but are trained in the process. Zoll walks participants through the CPR process as it operates so rescuers don’t have to remember each step.

All AEDs work reasonably well – it generally comes down to price in many situations.

    Breifly: cardiopartners https://www.aed.com/aed-packages-explained

we ordered from Cardio Partners because it fit the PA and national requirements by law. I can be a complicated purchase. Talk to the rep about what you need for your state.

This is a link to an AED provider that has a ‘Summer Camp’ all in one package. This includes the AED, ancillary supplies, training materials. It also includes a ‘Free physician prescription’ which is required for purchase.

This company also includes programs that ensure compliance with state and local laws.
