Course: Medication Management Training for Unlicensed Personnel (UAP’s)

This course is designed for unlicensed individuals who may be assisting with medication management activities at camp.   This course will outline key safety and operational activities to provide this service under the direction of a credentialed provider.  This course includes:

1. Step One: Online learning course that outlines the key components of medication management including storage, transportation, med rights, med forms, administration, documentation, and med errors.
2. Step Two:  Once the course is completed and certificate received, the individual will print the Demonstration Checklist and bring to camp where the nurse or other credentialed healthcare provider will sign off on a demonstration of skills and knowledge about medications.
3. Step Three:  Trained individuals will have access the Medication Management Resource document (printable at end of course) that they can use throughout the summer while providing medication services.
