NPI’s make a difference! Explore the key messages from this study:

  1. Implementation of multiple non-pharmaceutical interventions in camps to maintain and protect participant health were most effective, including screening, cohorting, hand hygiene, sanitizing practices, ventilation and social/physical distancing.
  2. The most frequently used non-pharmaceutical interventions in camps was cohorting.
  3. Non-pharmaceutical intervention implementation in camps required a consideration of both personal responsibility and shared responsibility to be effective in practice.
