2024 TickWise Pilot Program

ACH is working toward Healthier Camp Communities in partnership with the SC Johnson (SCJ) Foundation, collaborating on the Fight the Bite Initiative.

The Alliance for Camp Health (ACH)  in collaboration with SC Johnson (SCJ) Foundation will significantly reduce the public health burden of tick-borne diseases in children, on a scale never seen before, through prevention and education. This initiative focuses on youth serving organizations (camps) addressing ticks and tick borne illness. The Alliance for Camp Health will lead efforts related to camp-based disease prevention, data collection and education by creating TickWise spaces.

This project will launch as a pilot study in the state of Wisconsin. The inititive includes providing pilot site camps with the resouces needed to provide education and collect data in the summer of 2024.

Thank you for your willingness to participate as a pilot site.
