I was SURE I read/heard that camp staff were to be grouped in to classification of “CHILDCARE WORKERS” with regard to the obtaining the vaccine. Of course, now I can find NOTHING of the sort. Anyone else heard/know anything about this……or am I just making it up? :/

Cass, That classification is state by state. In some states camps are licensed child care facilities, and child care workers are in a priority group to receive vaccines.

In North Carolina are camps licensed child care facilities? If so, camp staff may be eligible for vaccines as your state moves in to Phase 3 on February 24.

Cass – ACA has been promoting information about Camp counselors as “essential workers” and therefore moving up to the essential workers category for vaccination. Below is a link to the CDC site about essential worker information which was hosted in the ACA Now publication. I think there will be more information coming.
