Candidates for Board Election

2025-2028

A Board represents and governs the organization on behalf of its members and communities.  One of the goals is to establish trust with the individuals they serve. The board must own the responsibility to improve the strength and effectiveness of the board. The Alliance for Camp Health (ACH) is revitalizing the board recruitment, vetting, and selection process to identify potential members who:

  1. Represent the communities being served
  2. Have a clear understanding of the organization’s mission and goals
  3. Have experience in one or more areas of focus for ACH
  4. Have the ability to lead and cultivate organizational growth
  5. Engage in action-oriented, results driven work
  6. Invest in ongoing self-education
  7. Are accountable service leaders
  8. Commit time, energy, and resources
  9. Demonstrate goodwill and a sense of humor
  10. Serve as an ACH ambassador

Great boards are led by people whose passion is rooted in strong and healthy self-awareness. Each member knows their own personal aspirations and values. They lead by values more than charisma, demonstrating authenticity and purpose. Great leaders know themselves and care enough to  listen and accommodate the aspirations of others.
