Epinephrine at Camp 2021

Each summer camps have to address access to epinephrine as the potential for anaphylaxis is always present.

Considerations for camp health staff include state regulations, where to purchase, what type of administration can be used, who is trained to administer and what is the associated cost. 

ACN works to stay abreast of the epi-options and share them with you. We have created a list of these options with the hope that you identify which type will meet the needs of your camp.

** Each camp must understand the state regulations for having stock (unassigned) epinephrine at camp.  Currently, all 50 states allow stock epinephrine in schools.  In addition, 33 of those states allow stock epinephrine in non-school entities (such as camp).  Know your state allowances:
